Rain
So it's been raining here in minneapolis for four days straight. That may sound like a bad thing, but I actually enjoy it. I was thinking about how I would miss the rain if I moved to San Diego for 6 to 8 months. It's sunny and 70 there everyday, and i think i would miss the seasons, the rain, the snow, the colorful leaves. Actually the rain makes me want to be in england more than anything. soon enough i believe, for a short time at least. two weeks til LA & SD...im excited...

here's my 2c on the weather:
the "lack of seasons" here isn't too bad cause it still gets cold, just not bitterly cold.
it sucks cause there is a serious lack of thunderstorms. here, when it rains, it just rains. no thunder, no lightning. it's just gloomy & rainy...
ALSO LA, as everyone knows, has the WORST traffic in the US & everyday it's the same... get on the highway, full of traffic, usually it's sunny, sometimes there's rain... the only challenge is tolerating it... there aren't the ever changing obsticals that chicago offers like snow or ice which takes skill to drive in. or a downpour where you can hardly see the road. or a yellow sky where you're trying to keep your eye out for a tornado as you're driving & you hear sirens going off... NOTHING. i mean, is a little variety too much to ask for? the only challenge is not getting hit by stupid LA drivers which is more scary than the weather stuff sometimes... but man, it gets frikin' BORING!!!
